The Experience

IMPORTANT RACE NOTE... IF YOU ARE A WALKER WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU, BUT YOU MUST DO THE 5K.   WE DO NOT HAVE A 1/2 MARATHON WALK DIVISION.   WE NEED TO GET EVERYONE OFF THE COURSE IN 3:15:00 WHICH IS 15 MINUTES PER MILE FOR THE HALF MARATHON, WHICH IS ACHIEVABLE FOR RUNNERS AND JOGGERS AND EVEN JOG/WALK COMBO FOLKS.   BUT HAVING THE SAFETY STAFF/RANGERS/EMT ON THE COURSE FOR OVER AN HOUR EXTRA COULD COST OVER $1000 EXTRA IN EXPENSES.   WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING THAT THIS IS NOT A HALF MARATHON WALK.

YOU MUST MAINTAIN 15:00 MIN PER MILE FOR THE HALF-MARATHON OR YOU WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED INTO THE FOLLOWING YEAR IF YOU DECIDE TO ENTER.

SPLITS TO MAINTAIN 15:00 PER MILE...1M=15:00, 2M=30:00, 3M=45:00, 4M=1:00:00, 5M=1:15:00, 6M=1:30:00, 7M=1:45:00, 8M=2:00:00, 9M=2:15:00, 10M=2:30:00, 11M=2:45:00, 12M=3:00:00, 13M=3:15:00, 13.11M=3:16:30.            RD TIM-SS
