Trail Mix Duathlon

This year we are hosting an off-road duathlon and a mountain bike race on the same day! Two distances for each event. The Trail Mix duathlon is a 2 mile run, 10 mile bike, 2 mile run (individual or team of 2 people, 1 runner and 1 biker) The Half Mix duathlon is a 2 mile run and 5 mile bike.  The Trail Mix Competitive mountain bike race is 20 miles The Trail Mix Sport mountain bike race is 10 miles.

Sign up for both a duathlon and a mountain bike race and receive a 25% discount at checkout! The run loop is at https://www.strava.com/segments/29916486 and goes clockwise. The bike loop is at https://www.strava.com/segments/32772773 and goes counter-clockwise. Both courses and transition will be thoroughly marked. All of the events are at the Atwood Park Trail System, 7074 Rydberg Rd, Rockford, IL 61109. Both runs and the ride will be on the off-road trails. A mountain bike is strongly recommended. Sign up as an individual or a team consisting of 2 people. Professional chip timing by Tri-3 Sports Timing. Your entry includes a custom Purist water bottle, your choice of meal from Sizz n Fizz food truck, and ice cream from Dairyhäus on site! Prairie Street Brewhouse will also be on site with beer, soda, and water. There's not any packet pickup to worry about ahead of time. Pre-racing meeting for the duathlon will be at 8:45am. You must be checked in before then. The MTB course will be open for pre-riding at 11a with non race course trails open all day. Pre-race meeting at 11:45a. We will cap the total duathlon entries at 90 and the total mountain bike entries at 125. There is not race day sign up. 100% of proceeds for the duathlon will be donated to trail building at Atwood Park.
