The Cote Dame Marie Ski Loppet transforms the Hanson Hills Recreation Area into a winter racing venue. This event, held in Grayling, Michigan, offers distances including a 22K, 11K, and 5K, with wave starts beginning at 10:00 AM.

The course is primarily a loop trail, with the 22K extending onto snowshoe trails for a more challenging second lap. Runners can expect a classic ski experience, with specific tracks set for the Citizen Classic course. The race utilizes chip timing for accurate results, and finishers receive a souvenir receipt.

Packet pickup and registration are available on race day at the lodge, which also serves as a warming area. The start is located behind the softball field, and the finish line is at the base of the ski hill, a short distance from the warming areas.
