Join us for the Highline Half Marathon - The Race for Fallen Lineman. This race will take you around Lake Koronis in Paynesville, MN. The challenging course will test your endurance with many hills, but the beauty along the course will keep you going. You are welcome to participate as an individual, 2-person relay team, or 4-person relay team. Virtual participation is an option as well. The cost for virtual participation will be $5 more than in-person to pay for shipping of the t-shirt. Virtual participants do not need to record their time. New for 2026...walker registration! Walkers can register as individual, 2-person or 4-person relay teams. Walkers will not be timed and will start at 7am. All proceeds from the race will go to the Fallen Lineman Organization, who's mission is to memorialize fallen electrical line workers, and care for the families who have lost or are impacted by a severe injury of a loved one in the line of duty. They strive to consolidate accident and injury information to share openly for a safer work environment. Location: Highline Construction 16124 Old Lake Rd Paynesville, MN Race Logistics Race Start Time: 8am (7am for walkers) Water stop locations: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 mile marks. Gatorade available upon request. Trash cans will be spaced along the course. Please DO NOT drop cups on the course. Two utility vehicles will be patrolling the course. Extra water will be available on the carts. Upon finishing the race, refreshments will be available for each runner. Times will be available at www.pickleevents.com. Awards presentation will be at Highline Construction. Estimated award time of 11am Special instructions for the relays: Bus service will be available for the relays. The first bus stop will be located in the Highline Construction parking lot. The bus will leave at 7:05am to drop off walker relay team members and 8:05 am to drop off runner relay team members. Cheer on the runners as you pass them. The bus will make laps around the lake dropping off walkers and runners at their starting point and returning walkers and runners to the finish. If you do not wish to use the bus service, please plan your return trip to the finish line or home. Relay exchange spots will be at: 3 mile mark6 mile mark9 mile mark Restrooms and water available at each exchange point. 2-person relay exchange location: 6 mile mark. 4-person relay exchange locations: 3 mile mark, 6 mile mark, 9 mile mark. Race Entry Includes: Race shirt (guaranteed if registered by July 31st)Refreshments after the raceFinisher medal Race Day Schedule: 6:30am - Packet Pick Up Begins - Highline Construction Building 7am - Walkers Begin - arrive to the start line 10 minutes before the start of the race for a pre-race meeting 7:05am - Walker relay bus takes off to drop off relay team members 8am - Runners Begin - arrive to the start line 10 minutes before the start of the race for a pre-race meeting 8:05am - Runner bus takes off to drop off relay team members 11am - Estimated start time for awards, Highline Construction Building Runners Shirts: Runners pre-registered by July 31st will be guaranteed their shirt size.
