Casino Bridge Run - Kids Half Marathon

1 Mile Race Day - April 03, 2026 Event Location- CASINO BRIDGE RUN - 151 BEACH BLVD. BILOXI, MS The Casino Bridge Run - Kids  Half Marathon is not a Fun Run. Even though it will be fun, it is an innovative two month endurance building running/walking program designed for children kindergarten (K5) through 5th grade. Children will run the distance of a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) over the course of the 2 month program. To achieve this goal, kids must train for the last mile of their half marathon by running a total of 12.1 miles in 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 3/4 mile or 1 mile increments between February 01, 2027 through April 03, 2027 to qualify for the (1) mile race day participation. There are NO official winners, so your child can chart their progress from the beginning of their training in February until race day. Our motto is "if you had fun you won"!!! Students will run in PE class and/or with a parent and log their distances on the website to keep a tally to track their progress. Mileage is based on adult supervision and the honor system. Each kid  logging the (12.1) pre miles and will receive a Casino Bridge Run  Kids Half Marathon Finisher’s Medal when he/she completes the final mile on Saturday, April 03, 2026.  Parents/Guardians who choose to participate with their child on race day, MUST register as an adult. Only adults with a child participating can register. Kids completing 12.1 miles pre-race day and the race day 1-mile will  receive a shirt, race number, and a finishers’ medal. Parents receive a race number, which allows them access to the course.
