Whitefish Marathon

The Whitefish Half Marathon, now in its 15th edition, has grown to over 1,200 recent finishers, with runners from 41 states and a loyal 21% who return year after year. Starting from Depot Park, the course offers sweeping views of the Montana mountains, with Glacier National Park just beyond—a true runcation setting.

The half marathon shares the first 13 miles with the marathon on a fast, scenic course through this top-50 small town. The route is well-supported and strategically designed to start and finish at the same point, creating a lively, community-driven atmosphere.

At the finish, a large post-race party in Depot Park awaits, complete with food, festivities, and the official event shirt. With a typical winning time around 68 minutes and the event sold out three years running, the Whitefish Half Marathon delivers both speed and stunning scenery.
