The Experience
Queens is all about diversity. It’s NYC’s second most populous borough with 2.3 M people living in a community with the highest rate of racial and ethnic variety of all populous counties in the nation. So, there is no better way to start and finish a race in Queens, NYC than through Flushing Meadows Park. You’ll run past the Unisphere on a relatively lat and fast course with two small uphill sections when you cross an overpass. The views from the overpass are so beautiful that you’ll hardly notice.
