Good morning, runners. The big news today is fresh finisher results from the land of the midnight sun. Over 1,000 runners finished the 2026 Anchorage Mayor's Marathon & Half Marathon – 1,019 to be exact. If you ran it, check your results.
Upcoming Races to Watch
July 4th weekend is packed with options. If you want a scenic Fourth, head to New York for the 2026 Finger Lakes Fifties (Hector, NY) or to Wisconsin for the 2026 Eagle Chase @ Fire on the River (Sauk City, WI). Both race day July 4.
Looking ahead to July 11-12: Oregon’s 2026 Deschutes Dash Weekend Sports Festival in Bend, Colorado’s 2026 Silverton Alpine Runs, and Pennsylvania’s 2026 Murrysville Monster on July 12.
Late July brings a mix of fun themes: 2026 WaunaFest Run (Waunakee, WI), 2026 Coast Guard City USA Run (Grand Haven, MI), 2026 Blood, Sweat and Beers (Auburn, CA), 2026 Cudahy Classic Races, and 2026 Koloa Plantation Days in Hawaii – all on July 25-26.
August 1 is a big day: seven new races including 2026 Brazen Summer Breeze (CA), 2026 The Legend (MI), 2026 Remember The Alamo Beer (TX), 2026 Wisconsin Trail Assail National Watermelon Run, 2026 Huckleberry Half Marathon (OR), 2026 Philmont Trail Race (NM), and 2026 Port Oneida Run (MI). And on August 2, 2026 Hofbrauhaus Cleveland (OH).
