National Ugly Sweater Day is December 19, 2025 and we are celebrating with our tenth annual Ugly Sweater 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2! 

  Races can be completed anytime in December 2025, even better if it’s December 19th!

1 mile, 5k, 10k, 13.1, and 26.2 virtual races are available — you choose which distance you want to complete Great for all ages A percentage of race registration fees will be donated to charity.*

You’ll receive an Ugly Sweater medal upon completion of your event! Registration Fee: $24 (includes a medal, bib, and donation to charity)

However, you're welcome to email us at support@virtualrunevent.com for more information on which charity this race benefits and to get a list of our charity donations throughout the years.   What is a Virtual Race?                              A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or ev en at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more!  Each race benefits a difference charity For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. We’ve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from races here at Virtual Run Events!  Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.
