The Experience

Since 1995, the Bell Buckle RC-MoonPie 10 Mile Run has lured runners to this tiny Tennessee town for a uniquely challenging distance and a slice of old-fashioned Southern hospitality. The certified course winds through historic neighborhoods and tree-lined streets, offering a rolling, scenic test that rewards grit with stunning rural views. The morning starts in the charming downtown, where spectators cheer runners past classic storefronts and century-old homes.

The race coincides with the beloved RC-MoonPie Festival, turning the finish line into a full-blown celebration. After crossing, runners are greeted by live music, festival food, and the iconic MoonPie treat—a sweet reward for a hard effort. The 5K, added in 2018, offers a flatter route for those seeking a quicker tour of Bell Buckle's quiet streets. With a welcoming community vibe and a race that's stood the test of time, this event feels like a local secret worth traveling for.
